With winter quickly approaching, it is never too early to start thinking about winterizing your lake home and docks. Each year Ameren lowers water levels to approximately 654 feet or 6 feet below reservoir level. During this "winter draw down" it is important to ensure your dock cables are adjusted properly to accommodate for the change in water levels and scheduling pier replacement if necessary.
